Heather Ballew 헤더 벌루

헤더 벌루는 사랑스럽지만 웅장한 산들이 스카이라인을 감싸고 햇볕이 풍부하며, 많은 의미를 함축한 ‘마일 하이 시티’의 도시, 덴버에서 왔다. 1990년대 스윙 르네상스에 춤을 시작한 헤더는 처음엔 완전히 잘못배어서 오랜 시간에 걸쳐 그녀의 춤을 모든 부분에서 가다듬고 다시 배웠다고 단언한다. 이런 점들 때문에 어떤 것들은 되고 어떤 것들은 잘 안되는지를 날카롭게 알고 있다. 강습에서 학생들의 자신감을 불러일으키고 소셜과 대회에서는 잠재력을 활짝 열어주는 것, 또한 파트너쉽에서 창의성과 커뮤니케이션을 위한 새로운 길을 만들도록 도와주는 것이 그녀의 큰 목표이다. 헤더는 모든 레벨의 댄서와의 춤을 사랑하며  그녀의 특별한 커넥션, 풋워크와 세밀한 즐거움들로 잘 알려져 있다. 미국과 해외 곳곳에서 가르치고 있으며 댄스 씬을 만들어 나가는 것에 대해 열정적으로 이야기하고 항상 분위기를 즐겁게 만들려고 노력하는 사람이며 그와 동시에 진지한 페이스북 토론을 즐긴다.

Heather Ballew hails from the lovely, landlocked city of Denver where majestic mountains tower over the skyline, sunny days are plentiful, and the name "Mile High City" has many connotations. As a participant of the 1990's swing renaissance, Heather Ballew swears she learned everything the wrong way first and has had to relearn and refine every bit of her dancing multiple times over the years. Because of this, she is keenly aware of what works and what doesn’t on the social floor. In the classroom, she strives to help her students gain confidence and realize their full potential as social or competitive dancers but her biggest goal is to open up new avenues for creativity and communication within the partnership. She loves dancing with people of all levels and she is known for her connection, footwork, and playfulness. She can be found teaching around the United States and abroad, talking passionately about scene-building, and starting zany and sometimes thoughtful Facebook discussions.
