코리아 발보아 클래식 챔피언쉽
코리아 발보아 챔피언십은 2009년부터 시작된 클래식 발보아 대회로, 아시아에서 가장 오래된 역사를 지닌 발보아 대회이다. 발보아 댄스의 핵심 요소인 플로우 flow, 뮤지컬리티 musicality, 커넥션 connection 그리고 파트너십 partnership 을 클래식한 방식으로 창의적이고 역동적으로 표현하는 것을 목표로 한다. 코리아 발보아 챔피언십의 세부 심사 기준은 심사 위원 마다 약간씩 다를 수 있으며 각 심사 위원의 심사 기준은 추후 공지된다.

KOREA BALBOA CHAMPIONSHIP is a classic Balboa contest since 2009 and is the oldest Balboa competition in Asia. We put our value to express a creativity and dynamism in a classic way based on the key elements of Balboa dance : flow, musicality, connection, and partnership. Specific judging criteria may be added by the judges of the year. The judging criteria for each judge will be announced later.

각 부상은 Balboa Classic, Balboa Open Mix & Match 그리고 Amateur Classic 1위 우승자 순으로 순차적으로 선택권이 주어지며 명시되지 않은 부가의 다른 상품을 추가로 제공하지 않습니다.
- Each passes for 1st winners will be offered in order to Balboa Classic, Open Mix & Match and Amateur Classic. Except of them, other additional prize won't be available or negotiable.

성별에 관계없이 리더 혹은 팔로워로 대회에 참가 가능 (* 아마추어 부문의 리더는 참가 자격이 있지만 팔로워로서는 참가 자격이 없을수 있음). 단 루키 부문 제외로 루키 부문은 역할이 아니라 아래 정의로 인한 발보아와 수상경력으로 구분.

한 명이 리더와 팔로워 역할 모두 참가해 모두 결승에 진출하는 경우, 결승에서는 하나의 역할만 선택

루키 믹스앤매치와 아마추어 믹스앤매치 두 개 이상의 대회에 모두 참가해서 파이널에 든 경우, 하나의 대회를 선택해야 한다. (예, 루키 믹스앤매치와 아마추어 믹스앤매치 신청자가 아마추어 믹스앤매치 파이널에 든 경우, 자동적으로 루키 믹스앤매치에 참가할 수 없다.)

Regardless of the gender, anyone can join into the competition as each leader or follower role. If the both roles make a final in one competition, in the final round they shall be asked to chooses one role.

A Rookie dancer is defined with a experience of the dance and the previous competition placements.

If you join into both Rookie and Amateur Mix & Match and made it to the finals of Amateur Mix & Match, automatically the competitor can't join into Rookie Mix & Match.

Preliminary of Mix & Match
믹스앤매치의 예선 진행

대회 신청자들이 일렬로 선 상태에서 임의 번호를 통해 파트너를 결정한다. 1분 30초에서 40초 정도의 음악으로 임의 선정된 파트너와 함께 춤을 춘다. 최대 2~3곡

음악은, 주최측에서 선정하며 클래식 발보아 음악으로 각 부문에 적당한 빠르기로 결정된다.

각각 리더와 팔로워를 별도 심사된다. 저지들이 Yes, No, Maybe를 표시를 통해 6커플에서 최대 8커플까지 파이널리스트를 결정한다. (상세 방식 참고 링크)

In Mix & Match preliminary, contestants stand in a line and choose a partner randomly. A music from 1 minute 30 to 40 seconds. two or three songs per group.

믹스앤 매치 결승에서는 최초에 결정 파트너와 대회를 참가한다.

8 커플 이내의 결선 참가자가, 한 커플 씩 나와서 곡의 일부분에 춤을 추는 스팟라이트를 진행한다.

파트너와 함께 신청하며 별도의 예선없이 탭인/ 탭아웃으로 진행한다.

심사 위원들이 돌아다니며 텝인/ 탭아웃으로 커플들을 탈락시키며 최종 두 커플 혹은 3커플이 남고 최종 선택된 커플이 우승자가 된다.
