2003년부터 계속된 스윙댄스에 열정과 열망을 갖고 있는 오기 프리먼(Augie Freeman)은 로스 엔젤레스에서 활동하는 발보아 댄서이다. 그의 영감은 춤의 역사, 올드 클립 그리고 많은 오리지널 마스터들과의 대화에서 비롯되었다. 오기는 2012년 칼리포니아 스윙댄스 명예의 전당(California’s Swing Dance Hall of Fame)에 이름을 올렸고 많은 국내와 국제대회에서 수상을 했다. 대회로는 ILHC, NJC, 올발보아위크앤드(All Balboa Weekend), 인터내셔널 발보아 챔피언쉽(International Balboa Championship)그리고 칼리포니아 발보아 클래식(California Balboa Classic)이 있다. 대회가 그에게 재미를 주는것이라면 그의 열정과 사랑은 항상 소셜 댄스 플로어에 있다.

Augie Freeman 
 

Augie Freeman is a Los Angeles based Balboa Instructor who’s passion and enthusiasm for swing has kept him dancing since 2003. His inspirations come from dance history, old clips, and conversations with many of the original masters. Augie was inducted into California's Swing Dance Hall of Fame in 2012 and has competed in many National and International level competitions including ILHC, NJC, All-Balboa Weekend, the International Balboa Championship, and the California Balboa Classic. Although competing is fun for him, his enthusiasm and love is always found on the social dance floor.
